I was just flipping channels and caught a clip of Reverend Jeremiah Wrights' speach at an NAACP gathering. Don't know where or when it happened but doesn't matter. I hit the channel just as the Reverend is talking about how everyone from elementary school through college are taught about classical 'european' or 'white' music in school(emphasis on first and third beat) versus 'black' music (emphasis on second and fourth beat). Only an asshole would be stupid enough to use simple musical theory as a vehicle to serve his racist agenda to critisize and inflame open minded people who enjoy any and all musical styles. I grew up in Windsor across the river from Detroit Michigan and loved Motown music regardless of what color the person making the music was. What a sorry asshole Reverend Wright is.
